The Government of British Columbia has a wealth of information relating to Human Trafficking in Canada. They also have an online training program which I reference in my book. They also have a very good Publications & Resources page which I used extensively during my research. On this website you can also find a National List of Organizations for information across Canada.
SA Foundation is a BC and UK based organization that provides long term housing, recovery and training for women and their children escaping human trafficking and sexual exploitation. They work locally and internationally.
International Justice Mission Canada partners with local authorities in 11 countries to combat slavery, violence against women and children, and other forms of abuse against people who are poor.
XEnditMovement is a coalition of worldwide organizations that fight to end human slavery on the ground. On their website you can access links to all of the organizations that are part of the coalition.
BridgeNorth – Organization with a vision to end sexual exploitation in Canada
Cybertip.ca – Canada’s National Tipline for reporting the online sexual exploitation of children.
