Welcome to my updated website.
I started this website almost two years ago, and it was time for an upgrade/update. Technology like mathematics is a constant source of amazement to me. Like math, my understanding of the application and magic behind the screen is limited. Meaning, I have been on a huge learning curve for the last couple of years. I won’t bore you with the minutia of website development, but it has taken a good month for all the behind the scenes processes to happen. I am still tweaking, but am happy with the latest version.
What has changed?
Besides editing the text on my HOME and ABOUT pages, the Work in Progress (WIP) page, is now WRITING. Until I am published, this is where you will learn about what I am currently working on and some of the inspiration for my writing. One day this page will be dedicated to my books and where to purchase them.
There is no longer a BONUS page. I decided to eliminate one more thing to update which takes me away from actually writing.
I now have a form where you can sign up for my Newsletter – both in the footer and on the CONTACT page. This was not an option on my previous site, well it was, but it was so complicated, I just couldn’t get it to work.
During this whole process, I have not been able to post anything to my blog. I am happy to be back at. For the next seven Saturdays, I will be posting a series of posts about the tools in my writing shed. I am calling the series Weapons in my Armoury. Writing is a solitary profession, it takes the discipline of a soldier to learn to use all the tools available in the pursuit of publication.
